"I've Come Home"-Trenton

I've started to wonder why baptism has become a part of my journey as a photographer. Before I started booking sessions, I didn't know people had photographers at baptisms and I have never advertised for them. But my very first paid photography gig was for a baptism and I still receive inquiries for these events. And they move me every single time. It doesn't matter the circumstances, like whether it's in a church or a hospital. I like being reminded that God is making all things new. This life is a shadow, and whatever is coming is better than anything we leave behind.

This day was extra special because my cousin, Trent, was getting baptized and our Poppi performed the baptism.

Baptism is a visual seal to a change that has already happened and reminder that we're not here alone. I love seeing how each of my client families hold their baptisms and being able to capture the heart's emotions.
